WATER STUDY PROGRAM

 

 The Musconetcong Watershed Assoication's Kyle Richter will lead your children on an outdoor, hands-on, learning experience. Using Valley View's property, students will explore and learn about different habitats, wildlife, plants and river life. Each week will focus on a different topic. We will spend the entire hour outside experiencing Valley View in a different way.

  Kyle is the Watershed Programs coordinator at the Musconnetcong Watershed Association (MWA), a local non-profit dedicated to protecting and improving the quality of the Musconetcong River, including it's natural and cultural resources. Kyle runs MWA's in-school watershed education programs and is director of MWA's Camp Musky. Students: 3rd and 4th graders            Price $60/student ($50 each additional student in the family)

CPR CLASS & First Aid Classes  (discount if taking both classes)

CPR

April 10th   Place: Valley View -Room TBD  Time:  6-8 p.m.  Cost: $30

If you have ever wanted tolearn CPR this is the time. This course is taught by an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor. You will learn Adult, Child, and Infant CPR , choking, allowing you to help anyone of any age. This is not a course for health care personnel.

FIRST AID

April 11th   Place: Valley View - Room TBD  Time: 6-8 p.m.  Cost: $30

This course is taught by an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor.  You will learn how to control bleeding, what to do if someone is having a heat or cold emergency, heart attack, stroke, or allergic reaction. This is not a course for health care personnel.
